My art direction career began with a ride down Michigan Avenue in my brother's black t-top camaro. I was making him drop me off at every building with an ad agency in it. On my last stop of the day of casually strolling into top ad agencies and naively asking to meet with creative directors, I finally got someone to see me. He ripped my book to shreds. Not very nice, but I got the job. I didn't care...I just wanted to start somewhere. Something big was going to happen. I was going to get paid to create stuff and find my true passion. http://www.creativehotlist.com/a-deyoung2
